Lately we’ve been busy working on the new Collections area
in DIVA. DIVA Collections streamline
your access to large collections of material in DIVA with better organization
and more comprehensive metadata on each item. You can already check out one of
the collections: the San Francisco Bay Area TV Archive.
The TV Archive preserves over 4000 hours of newsfilm,
documentaries and other programs produced locally in the Bay Area and Northern
California between 1939-2005 and is part of SF State Library’s Department of
Special Collections. We’ve been working with the TV Archive to bring some
important items into DIVA for the public to check out.
