Lavinia FONTANA (1552 - 1614): This piece was originally from the Gnetti Chapel in Santa Maria dei Servi (Bologna). It is characterized as relaxed & realistic. A domestic feeling-in contrast to robust naturalism of the contemporary Carracci school.
