Jan VAN EYCK (c.1390 - c.1441): Possibly originally the left wing of a triptych. The signs of the Zodiac include Scorpio; Leo; and Sagittarius. The two Bible stories shown are David beheading Goliath and Samson destroying the Philistine temple.
