William GHORMLEY (act. 1889): Ghormley designed the dress. The fabric pattern of goldenrod flowers was designed by Indiana artist Mary Williamson. The Logan Silk Company of Auburn; New York wove the brocaded fabric. McKee was President Benjamin Harrison's daughter. She became First Lady after the death of her mother Caroline Scott Harrison in 1892.
