ETHIOPIAN AXUMITE Anonymous (c. 100 BCE - c. 700): The fallen stele is 22.5 meters tall. The stelae field is named after Gudit (Yodit) , the Felasha Queen who is said to have razed much of ancient Axum. The field contains may small stelae and seems to be contemporary with the larger stele field in Asum. It was perhaps were people of lesser rank were buried.
