GREEK HELLENISTIC Anonymous (323 BCE - 30 BCE ): Artemis was the goddess of the hunt and Fortuna was the personification of good luck. Part of a collection of eleven pieces of Ptolemaic jewelry found in Egypt. Large rings such as these were favored in Ptolemaic Egypt but not fashionable in Greece.
