FRENCH GOTHIC Anonymous (active c. 1150 - c. 1500): This Islamic rock crystal vase was reset with a Frehch Romanesque setting. Inscriptions: 'Given to Abbot Suger & St. Denis by Louis VII & Eleanor of Aquitane. Imir of Salamanca gave it to her father, William IX of Aquitane.'
