OTTOMAN Anonymous (1516 - 1918): Built for Mustapha Gurgi, originally from Caucasusian Georgia and chief of the Tripoli customs service. The complex includes a madrasa and Gurgi's mausoleum. The decoration was done by Moroccan stone carvers.
