OTTOMAN Anonymous (1516 - 1918): Built for Mustapha Gurgi, originally from Caucasusian Georgia and chief of the Tripoli customs service. The complex includes a madrasa and Gurgi's mausoleum. The Minaret is decorated with tile and is the tallest in the old section of Tripoli.
