State of California General Plan Guidelines, 2003 (Updated over a year ago)

The Governor's Office of Planning and Research is in the process of updating this document (it will be dated 2007, I believe). This guide provides information to jurisdictions about what general plans should cover as well as ideas for data and analysis. It also covers Specific Plans, which are policy and, potentially, implementation documents pertaining to a special geographic sub-area.
