This presentation critically investigates how Native (American) artists embrace the art and culture of Hip Hop to articulate a postcolonial rhetoric in space, location and identity. I will critically unpack centrist layers of post-modernism that contribute to a form of disenfranchisement for Native people (i.e., reservation/urban centers). http://www.sfsu.edu/~ethnicst/
