KRON-TV special report from 1957, presented by Mrs Majorie Trumbull, which looks at a major exhibition of Asian art by the San Francisco Museum of Art. As Trumbull states in her introduction: "Because we consider this exhibition of such outstanding cultural and human interest, we have recorded some of its highlights on film, for you and for others to enjoy." Includes interviews with museum Director Dr. Grace Morley and Mr John Humphrey, who discuss the origins, history and significance of the artworks. Also features many views of the exhibits. This film was directed by Thomas Mullahey, with photography by Leo Diner Films. Please note that the original 16mm film print was loaned to the TV Archive by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
