A semi-impressionistic film about the 1959 U.S. premiere at San Francisco State College of Sergei Prokofiev's opera The Duenna, produced by the Department of Drama. It focuses on the work and preparations of student and stage manager Doyle Newbury. Features scenes of rehearsals, classes and the performance itself. This film was written and directed by Edd Dundas, the Faculty advisor was Robert J. Graham and sound production was from William A. Furman III.
