From the San Francisco Planning Department; maps from 1961-1964. The pattern of industry in this area avoids the hills. Hayes Valley, which runs northwest to southeast, shows a pattern of industry in the flatter parts of Hayes Valley. Almost all the industry has been replaced by residential uses.
