The main focus of the photo is the recently cleared industrial site that included Borden's Dairy Operations and would be converted into a park called Potrero del Sol. The buildings to the north of the site are an industrial space on the left, and an elementary school on the right. Beyond the elementary school is the new section of San Francisco General Hospital, with the old section to the left in brick. The hill is Potrero Hill, and the trees above the General Hospital are part of McKinley Park. The two buildings just above the freeway were used by a group called "The Farm." The street on the left is Potrero Avenue and the street to the east of the future park is San Bruno Avenue.
