The new park, Potrero del Sol, is gradually being landscaped. A stage has been set up at the lower right of the park. Highway 101 is barely visible to the right and left of the billboard advertising Merit cigarettes. The main street running left to right is Potrero Avenue, and at the very bottom is Army/Cesar Chavez Street, which is going under the freeways. The large building above the billboard is most likely the Dutch Boy Paint factory; it will later be torn down and converted to housing.
