To the right is the lower high-rise that is Bernal Dwellings just off Army/Cesar Chavez Street. Just above Bernal Dwellings is Peralta Heights. The first block going horizontally (at a slight slant) is the first block of Peralta Avenue. This is a view of the western slope of Peralta Heights from Twin Peaks. Above Peralta Heights on the Bay shore is the industrial area of Islais Creek and Pier 80 on the far left; Piers 94 and 96 are to the right. The residential district in the foreground is the Mission District. In the lower left, the white building with several peaks is the Bethel Christian Church at Valencia and 24th Street.
