The Castro Theater is just beyond the walkways. 17th Street is running from right to left, just to the left of the Castro Theater. In the middle of the slide on the left is Dolores Park. On the horizon is a Pacific Gas & Electric gas storage tank and industrial area close to the San Francisco Bay. The hill on the horizon in the middle beyond the smokestack is Hunter's Point Ridge, now mostly empty. It will soon be redeveloped as a residential neighborhood. The big white building below and to the right of Hunter's Point Ridge is a Pacific Telephone switching building. And then on the horizon is Bernal Heights, and to its right is Candlestick Hill. The hill in that area, filled with houses, is Dolores Heights.
