At the top middle of the photo is a tall building that is a bank at 22nd Street and Mission Street- it was built as the headquarters of Bay View Federal Savings; now it is U.S. Bank. The church seen is at 22nd Street and Capp Street- it was Saint John's Lutheran church and is now a Chinese Buddhist Temple (Hua Zang Si). The street to the left of 22nd Street is Hill. At the bottom of the photo running horizontally is Diamond Street at the beginning of Castro Hill. Dolores Heights runs east of Castro Street.
