A Visit To Sausalito's Village Fair (1966) (Updated a year ago)
KPIX News special report by Alan Goldberg from 1966, featuring a visit to the Village Fair shopping complex in Sausalito, Marin County CA. Goldberg states: "In the business world Sausalito's Village Fair is the exception to the one-stop shopping center. They say you have to see it to beileve it." Includes an interview with Ray Roy, who acts a guide around the complex of 38 shops, studios and workrooms. Also includes silent views of various stores, shoppers and the 'Little Lombard' winding stairway, which after the Village Fair closed was incorporated into the newly renovated Casa Madrona hotel.
