A lovely Classical Revival three-story building with ground store commerce, typical of buildings constructed after the 1906 fire. In the 1970s and 1980s, the ground floor had a series of tenants; one of them was a Finnish sauna. After that it was a gay bath house called the Sutro Baths, then it was a Gold's Gym. After that, the building had a major fire, was rebuilt, and as of circa 1990, it was used as low income housing. In 1991 it was for sale with an asking price of $1,995,000.
