Much of this side of Valencia Street is Victorian and all of it is part of the Liberty Hill Historic District. This west side block probably has some of the most interesting buildings on the street. The corner building is a Stick-style, but is covered in asbestos. The second three-story building is an Italianate. The third is a Classical Revival building. Compare with slide from 2012 and note the major changes in the commercial tenants in the ground floor. In 1988, the ground tenant in this building was the Alliance Church, a Hispanic Church. By 2012, this space was occupied by Viracocha (Feathered Serpent), which sold antiques, assorted rarities, and art.
