Almost all the buildings here are the same height, except for the single one-story. The storefront to the left of Blue Fig is Artists Television Access (ATA). It is an artist-run, non-profit that cultivates and promotes culturally aware, underground media and experimental art. The space provides a screening venue and gallery for viewing and for performances and events. The founders are John Martin and Marshall Weber of the San Francisco Art Institute, and the Martin-Weber gallery on 8th Street south of Market Street.
