Photographic spread about the Glee Club at San Francisco State Teachers College that was the first music group organized by Music and School Management instructor Eva A. Levy in 1922. Miss Levy was a "Golden Graduate" from San Francisco State Normal School in 1901. The Glee Club produced the "Legend of Kashmir" that was stylistically very Art Deco. The officers during the 1925-1926 academic year were Ursula Murphy (president), Helen Zak (secretary-treasurer) and the cast of the "Legend of Kashmir" included: Alberta Rennie (How Now), Marcella Schiller (Meerah), Ursula Murphy (Simila), Margaret Markham (Veerah), Kathleen Sherman (Badah), Margaret Hale (Hodie), Kathleen O’Neil (Priestess), Helen Mayer (Hear No Evil), Dolores Gilfether (See No Evil); Alice McKnew (Speak No Evil), Natalie Wooley and Kathleen Sherman (Dancers); and California Pisily, Grace Gerdella, Lucile Kiesel, Elizabeth Bruns, Helen M. Zak, Lucile Byrne, Elaine Ennis, Josephine Codoni, Beryle Kemmerer, Daisy Govans, Margaret Sheehan, and Helen Mayer (Dancing Girls).
