Photograph of the Scribes Club established in 1925 by students interested in writing and visiting locations that inspire creativity. The officers for fall 1927 were Eva Hartsough (president); Elisabeth Pinney (vice president); Gay Hill (secretary); and Elizabeth Peck (secretary). Officers for spring 1928 were Gay Hill (president); Elisabeth Pinney (vice president); Julia Dierssen (secretary) and Sadie Lopesco (treasurer).
