Photograph of early Franciscan Dames Club established in the spring semester of 1930 under the guidance of Education professor Mrs. Evangeline Adams Spozio to support married students to balance family life and studies. The first officers included: Ruth Herndon (president), Francis Byers (vice president), and Laura Denman (secretary-treasurer).
