Features interviews with Rudolf Nothenberg and former San Francisco Supervisor Susan Bierman sharing funny stories and reflecting on Willie Brown's strengths and strong personality traits. Also includes interview with Judge John Dearman discussing the law partnership he and Willie formed in 1965, how they organized representation for protesting students during the civil rights movement, the Sheraton-Palace sit-in of 1964, and the Hunters Point uprising of 1966 (referred to by Dearman as the Hunters Point riots). Dearman recalls the time he and Willie were trapped in the Hunters Point community center, surrounded by police in riot gear, after Mayor John Shelley addressed the community in an attempt to resolve the dispute and stop the riots. Please note: video cuts off as Dearman says "the only time I can recall..."
