Photograph of Isadore “Izzy” Pivnick was sophomore class president. Pivnick (class of May 1943) helped to organize State’s Frosh Hop held in the Terrace Room of the Fairmont Hotel to the music of Les Smith. Pivnick would go on to be a pivotal student leader.
