SF State Students Booked on Felony Charges

KRON-TV news footage from November 10th 1967 featuring brief scenes of 6 students from San Francisco State College, who have just surrendered to police, entering the San Francisco Hall of Justice at 10:40am where they are to be booked on felony charges relating to an assault on the editor of The Gater student newspaper on November 6th. The 6 men (released on bail for $315 each) were listed by the November 11th edtion of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper as: Benny Stewart; George Murray; Winston Hearing; Clarence Thomas; Danny L. Glover and Landon R. Williams. There are also views of the Gator editor Jim Vaszko and others walking along a corridor. Ends with a brief press conference by Assemblyman and lawyer Willie Brown, who will be representing these students. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
