KPIX-TV Teletours episode from December 1949 with Sandy Spillman in San Francisco, who explains in his introduction: "We're actually going behind the scenes of our own little television station … High atop Nob Hill in the Mark Hopkins Hotel, where we're located and let you meet some of the people who help bring these programs to you." Spillman guides us through a rehearsal in Studio 11 for the Ruby Hunter Show and around the KPIX transmitter and master control room up on the 21st floor, above the Top of the Mark bar. Includes interviews with: camera operator Tony Bomba; camera operator Larry West; audio technician Hank Eckhart; engineering director Roald Didrikson; chief engineer Al Town; producers; publicity people; Spillman's secretary Pat Lamb; Vice president and General Manager Philip J.
