KRON-TV's Live At Five (9/19/1984)
About This Item
KRON-TV's Live At Five evening news program with presenter Bob Jimenez from September 19 1984, featuring a fast-paced approach to reporting Bay Area news and breaking stories. Includes items about a foiled knife attack on Walter Mondale, a thunderstorm which caused several wildfires from lightning strikes and an update on tests which Muhammad Ali has been undergoing, which indicate he has a form of "Parkinson's like syndrome." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
Note: this video was remastered from a 3/4-inch Umatic videotape dub in 2011, which was donated to us from the local Emmys Chapter and was in poor condition. Both picture and sound are low quality.
