Hazel White and Sabrina Dalla Valle: April 24, 2014

The Poetry Center presents Hazel White and Sabrina Dalla Valle, reading from their poetry and engaging in conversation with the founding members of Kelsey Street Press, Rena Rosenwasser and Patricia Dientsfrey, for the first of two events in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Kelsey Street Press. White reads from her book Peril As Architectural Enrichment (Kelsey Street Press, 2011) and from the manuscript to Vigilance is No Orchard (Nightboat Books, 2018). Dalla Valle reads from her memoir, Seven Days and Nights in the Desert (Kelsey Street Press, 2013). This event was followed two nights later with a second reading celebrating the press's 40th anniversary, featuring Susan Gevirtz and Mei-mei Berssenbrugge.
