Francis X. Moakley, Professor of Broadcast Communication Arts, in class 1975. Francis X. Moakley started at SF State in 1964 as an international media technology consultant. He served as Director of the Audio Visual Center and Assistant Professor of Education, Broadcast Communication Arts, and Instructional Technology developed. Moakley earned his BS (1955) and M.Ed. (1958) at Boston State College and his MS (1964) and Ed.D. (1968) at Indiana University He completed post-doctorate studies at Boston University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Moakley developed BCA 426 &ldquo;Educational Television&rdquo; in 1971 as a teaching laboratory replacing BCA 126 in the &ldquo;use of electronic media in educational theoretical considerations of programed instruction and the use of computers; studio experience in writing, producing and evaluating radio and television instructional programs.</span></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Selected to attend C-SPAN's Summer 1991 Seminar for Professors in Washington, D.C.</span></p> </div> </div> </div>
