A recent transplant from New York, the Giants have just come from a tickertape parade through downtown San Francisco and will play their first game against the LA Dodgers tomorrow. Includes speeches by Baseball Commissioner Ford Frick and manager Bill Rigney, who introduces his coaching staff and team players. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
This 16mm b&w positive reversal print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in March 2025.
