Dewey W. Camp, Jr., 1965. Professor of Music. BM (1956) University of Alabama; MM (1957) and advanced study, Indiana University. Camp expanded vocal and operatic training as the director of the SFSU Choral Union and Orchestra. He believed SF State offered the “grassroots of going to the Met” for students (Phoenix, January 14, 1971: 4).
