Ferenc Molnar. 1952. Professor of Music; Director of the Chamber Music Center. Graduate of the Royal Hungarian Academy of Music (1912); Royal Hungarian Jozef Nadar University (1923); principal violinist San Francisco Symphony and Orchestra since 1944. Retired in 1967. Died in May 1985. [Image used in Faculty Footnotes (January 23, 1978) and Info (October 2, 1978): 2.] Molnar directed the Morrison Scholarship Quartet, so he was still active in campus music scene.
