Maj. Robert L. Branch. 1964. Commanding Officer Air Force ROTC and Professor of Aerospace Studies. BS (1949) Louisiana State University; MPH (1951) University of Michigan; Ph.D. 1961. Harvard University. Maj. Branch served in the United States Air Force during World War II and was recalled to active duty in 1952. He returned for a three-year tour of duty as Chief of the Training Division at Tachikawa Air Base in Japan. In 1966, Branch succeeded Colonel Arthur A. Scott as Chair of Aerospace Studies.
