Construction workers pour concrete into reinforced steel forms (rebar) during the early foundation phase of a new addition to the San Francisco State University library. A crane-operated concrete bucket is suspended above the site, delivering wet concrete into the formwork, while workers guide and level the pour. This image documents the structural groundwork of the library expansion during a period of major campus growth in the late 1960s–early 1970s. The project would become part of what is now known as the J. Paul Leonard Library, the university’s main research library.
