Griffith Park Workers Demonstration (1933) (Updated over a year ago)

A workers' demonstration against the city of Los Angeles in 1933, accusing the city of criminal negligence in a fire that killed 29 workers and injured 150 more. (The video puts the number dead at 100. This may be because it took weeks to establish a final death toll and identify the bodies.) The workers were employed as part of a welfare program during the Great Depression.
