Francois QUESNEL (1543 - 1619): Son of Henri II and Catherine de' Medici, he was a very ineffectual king of France from 1574-1589. Real power was held by the Duc de Guise. Henri was forced to flee Paris and was assassinated by a monk at Chartres.
