Photograph from the roof of the University Library of the cleared construction site for the future student union circa spring 1973. The Gallery Lounge is located in the left of the image in front of Burk Hall and the Speakers Platform is located on the triangular grass section in front of the Gymnasium. The Student Union was completed in October 1975 and named the Cesar Chavez Student Center on May 5, 1994.
