SFSU Graduation – Aerial View of the Commencement Ceremony

About This Item

An elevated view of San Francisco State University’s outdoor commencement ceremony in May 1975. Graduates stand assembled on the field as four members of the ROTC present the colors—one carrying the United States flag, one the California state flag, and two standing at attention in salute. The stage, faculty in academic regalia, and the orchestra frame the ceremonial setting, underscoring the formality and civic traditions that marked the occasion.
