An Architectural Model of the Campus
About This Item
An architectural model of San Francisco State University’s second addition to the Administration building designed by Connelly Weaver from Welton Becket and Associates. The project was completed in 1977. Also visible in this model is the University Library’s third addition designed by Carl C. McElvy with the California State Office of Architecture and Construction completed in 1971. On the left side is Hensell Hall (biological sciences) and Thornton Hall (physical sciences) both completed in 1972. Top left is student housing Verducci Hall competed in 1970 that was damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake.
