Raymond Doyle: Professor of Communications and Broadcasting Communication Arts; Dean of Educational Services and Summer Sessions

Raymond N. Doyle, 1946-1970; 1972. Professor of Communications and Broadcasting Communication Arts; Dean of Educational Services and Summer Sessions. BS (1942) University of New Hampshire; MA (1955) San Francisco State College; advanced study University of Southern California. During World War II, Doyle served as an intelligence officer for the United States Navy. Doyle was the founding director of SF State’s Radio-Television Department and assistant to President J. Paul Leonard. Doyle took State-wide assignments for the Chancellor’s Office working on Extension projects with CSU Stanislaus. Doyle retired in 1982 and became the Director for Communications for the San Francisco Archdiocese.
