George Comte Feliz. 1946. Professor of Economics and the first Dean of Graduate Studies. BA (1930), MBA (1934), Ph.D. (1949) Stanford University. Feliz was a sixth generation Californian who traced his roots to the De Anza expedition of 1775. Feliz taught Latin American economics. Feliz was tapped to be the co-chair of the Joint Graduate Board of Universities and Colleges between the California State Colleges and University of California. Retired in 1985. Died on March 29, 2000.
