BS (1958), BA (1959), MA (1961) University of Montana; advanced studies at Portland State University, Clark College, Whitman College; Ph.D. (1968) University of Washington. Feig was noted scholar on Jewish history, specifically the Holocaust and literacy. Considered to be the most powerful woman on campus in the late-1970s, she addressed safety issues on the increasingly urban campus.
