An Aerial View of the Frederic Burk Elementary School

Aerial view looking from southwest of the Frederic Burk Elementary School and playground located on the corner of Font Boulevard and Tapia Drive adjacent to modules 1-6 and the Corporation Yard. The elementary school under the San Francisco Unified School District was an observation/demonstration center for San Francisco State, where children who lived within a designated attendance area were eligible for enrollment. The school had a reputation as an excellent elementary school program providing observation/demonstration classes for pre-service and in-service courses and facilitating research and experimental projects relevant to teaching-learning processes.
