Stanley F. Paulson, Acting President of San Francisco State College (Portrait)

Stanley F. Paulson joined San Francisco State College in 1956 as an Associate Professor of Speech. He previously taught at the University of Minnesota and in the University of Maryland’s overseas program in Europe. A Fulbright scholar, he lectured at the University of Kanazawa in Japan (1961–1962). Ordained as a minister in 1944, Paulson later left SF State in 1966 to become Chair of the Speech Department at Pennsylvania State University. He died on October 11, 2004.
