Children Gather as the Lamb is Fed

The Frederic Burk School children cluster close, their faces intent as an older couple kneel in the grass to bottle-feed a lamb. The woman steadies the bottle with practiced hands while the man watches with quiet calm, his presence steady beside the children. Sunlight falls across striped shirts, braids, and wide eyes, as the children lean forward to take in every detail of the gentle act. It is a moment of shared care — an intimate circle of learning, patience, and wonder around a small farm animal.
