Frederic Burk School Children at the Garden Hose

A line of Frederic Burk School children waits their turn to drink from the garden hose, its arc of water sparkling in the sunlight. One girl leans in, sipping carefully, while the others look on — some patient, some eager, some playful. The simple act of sharing a drink becomes a moment of community and rhythm, every child part of the flow of refreshment on a warm farm day.
